I chanced upon an announcement from Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route on Facebook offering Customer Appreciation Month discount – Round trips from Tateyama Station to Kurobedaira station for Part 1 for Date of Use prior to 3 November; and round trip for Ogizawa to Murodo Part 2 for Date of Use 4 November to 30 November 2023 with Departure time from Ogizawa at 10:30am. The online limited offer was opened for a day. The purchase requires login at the Official Site to complete the order. Just exactly what I was looking for – make a decision how to visit Kurobe dam.

I purchased the full package of round trips bus from Nagano to Ogizawa and Ogizawa to Murodo for 16,000yen per person.

Exit Nagano East gate and head for Bus Stop No. 25 for the bus to Shinano Omach bus stop. If the bus tickets are purchased online together with the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

On arrival at Ōgizawa Station,

The weather conditions changed at Kurobe Dam. Combination of gusts and snowstorm resulted to poor visibility and increased the risk of slipping.
