Spain – Camino

Camino Santiago de Compostela (also known as “the Way of St James“) is a pilgrimage to the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I concluded that a picture is worth a thousand words of the terrains of this Camino.

I decided to share my experience through photos of terrains, meadows, valleys, prairies, towns, villages and ancient ruins.

Day 1: Sarria to Morgade

Day 2: Morgade to Portomarin

Day 3: Portomarin to Ventas de Naron

Day 4: Ventas de Naron to Palas de Rei

Day 9: Lavacolla to Santiago de Compostela

The Camino isn’t something you do to check off a bucket list and return to your life as if nothing happened. Something did happen. The person who started the Camino is no longer the same person who finished it. ” ~ Karin Kiser
