Beit She’An National Park

Beit She’An National Park is an Archaeological site in Israel with several well-preserved ruins which is located at the intersection of the Jordan River Valley and the Jezreel Valley. The National Park is situated within Beit She’An, is one of the oldest cities in Israel.

Beit She’An appeared in the Bible several times as the site where the bodies of King Saul and his sons were hung from the city walls.

Remains of a number ancient columns, rare mosaics and public baths are among the exhibits at the National Park.

I strongly recommend spending approximately 2 hours exploring this historical landmark. My favorite, the remains and reconstruction of the 2nd century Roman theatre.
