How to get there: General entrance is EUR3.50 to EUR5.00. The wall is accessible by by the Puerta del Carmen, La Puerta de la Catedral, Puerta del Alcázar and Puerta del Puente. However, the best place is La Puerta de la Catedral, beside the Cathedral of Avila. At the purchasing the ticket, there will be some stairs to climb to access the wall. Not much shelter but there are a number of metal benches for resting. Space is limited on the wall so do reconsider if you intend to bring an umbrella when you do the walk.
