Alcázar de Segovia
The Alcázar de Segovia (also known as Torre de Juan II del Alcázar de Segovia) looks like a very romantic medieval castle. Of course to get there on foot. What do you expect? Too near to catch a taxi and kind of far for people like me who dread about stairs and hot sun. To get to the Alcázar, be ready to walk 1.5km from the Aqueduct including climbing stairs with minimal shelter.

The prize? This medieval castle at the end of the huge Square, Plaza la Reina Victoria Eugenia. Long name for a Square. I am sure if it is much cooler, the Square would be covered with more greens and beautiful flowers.

The view is amazing from this Square. After the walk, I was not too much keen in making it into the castle nor to the Observation Deck behind. This is excellent weather for those who love the heat but just not my cup of tea as the temperature soars in late Spring.

How to get there: Walk as no vehicles allowed into the Square. No admission payable for access to the Square. Fees payable for access to the Alcazar. For updates, please visit the Official site – https://www.alcazardesegovia.com/
