Church of Saint James and Csodatételek
Many of us travel around the world and tend to have certain level of expectations of places we visit. Like Lourdes in the foothills of French Pyrenees mountains and the Portuguese town of Fatima, Medjugorje is a place where pilgrims meet and pray.
Unlike various parts of Europe where there are people begging at the side of the roads, I do not see any in Medjugorje. As we made our way on foot to Apparition Hill to witness the visionary, we were greeted by friendly faces of locals selling souvenirs and local produce.
