Kurobe Dam is the final segment of the Tateyama Kurobe Ropeway Alpine tour starting from Tateyama. Tateyama Kurobe Alpen route is broken into segments and accessible from either Tateyama station or Shinano Omach bus stop depending on season of the year and weather conditions.

It has been a dream to travel Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route round-trip. Unfortunately, my trip due in end November will be at the mercy of the Mother Nature. The round-about trip is possible only between mid-April till mid-November when the path to not obstructed.

Accordingly, the Official site for Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route advised that the access from Bijodaira station to Murodo station (tunnel through Mt Tateyama) might be accessible until 30 November.  Weather conditions can change without any notice.
