Hierapolis
Hierapolis, the “Sacred City”, is located at present-day Pamukkale in south central Turkey. Walking among the ruins of Hierapolis is like walking through another huge open-air museum.
Hierapolis plays an important role in the spread of Christianity. Saint Philip, one of the 12 apostles, died and was buried in this ancient city.
Tip: Bring camera, Hat and also sunblock. For those who are prone to hayfever, pollen level can be strong in Spring to Autumn.
