Santorini

Finding a location to stay in Santorini is not all about attractions in its close vicinity but more about your mode of transport from Athens to Santorini.

Dilemmas: By sea – Cool to sail across but sea-sickness, loss of time and getting from Athinios Ferry port to Fira is a no-no; By air – Catch that early flights and getting from the airport to Fira. The odds, Oia is a beautiful village best known for its exquisite sunsets. My choice would be best where there is less fuss – we flew to Santorini.

Loizos Stylish Residence is situated in Fira. A standard apartment for three adults at 88Euros per night is definitely value for money. The size of the apartment is huge. Each apartment has a bedroom and a common area. The bedroom is considered very spacious – contains a Queen-size bed, dressing table and ample walk space between the bed and the luggage area. The common area extends between the mini kitchen and the private sit-out area. Both the bedroom and the common area has a door to led to the private sit-out area. The entire apartment has individual remote controls. Not bad working out to 29euro per person per night for such a huge space. Most of all, this location is within walking distance to downtown Fira.
