San Marino Daytrip Adventure

Getting there: Train from Roma Termini to Rimi. Exit the Train station, cross to the opposite side of the road – Piazzale Cesare Battisti, to the Tabacco store. Purchase the bus tickets for San Marino. The bus stop to San Marino is right outside the Tabacco shop. The Autobus San Marino will journey through Rimini and up Monte Titano to the drop-off point, Piazzale Marino Calcigini. It takes a total of approximately 3 to 4 hours from Rome to San Marino.

The drop-off point, the Autobus San Marino-Rimini stazione, is situated at Piazzale Marino Calcigini. Entry through this city gate and into the courtyard of the old town lined with narrow cobblestone streets.

Church of San Francesco, a Catholic church, situated in front of the city gates at the intersection of Contrada S. Francesco and Via Basilicius. A likelihood that this church has been marked as part of the restoration program.
