Pigeon Valley

Pigeon Valley, also known as Guvercinlik Valley, got its name from the multitudes of tiny pigeon houses that have been carved into the valley’s rock face. In ancient times, inhabitants of these caves raised pigeons as essential messengers and pets.
Pigeon Valley is popular for trekking or long walks. Due to time constraints and our packed itinerary, our stopover at Pigeon Valley was brief.
