Göreme Open Air Museuem

Göreme Open Air Museum contains more than 30 rock-carved churches and chapels, some of which have superb frescoes inside, dating from the 9th to the 11th centuries.

The size of this open air museum is enormous. It takes hours to visit each cave. Definitely a pair of good walking shoes and drinking water is required to explore this museum.
