I am particularly attracted to anything that is turquoise or skyblue in colour. One of which is the turquoise waters, blue dome and whitewashed structures of Greek Islands. Greece and a number of Mediterranean islands is “playground” to some of the rich and famous in the world. If it was not for the debt crisis in 2017, this trip might not have been possible.
A consolation about the second accommodation in Athens is that it is situated in downtown and we have quite a view of Acropolis.
Upon our return to Athens, we discovered that there was an announcement about a Transportation Strike was to be launched 16th May onwards. This will impact all forms of transportation – buses, trains, trams and even possibly air trafficking. Great! This is going to be another round of adventure unfolding then.
