Susukino

The heart of Susukino is the place for entertainment, shopping and dining. The area comes alive at night with more food options. 

Bargain hunters, there is a Daiso at the 2nd floor of Cocono Shopping mall. If anyone traveling to Susukino subway with luggage, note that the subway is linked to Cocono Shopping mall and use the elevator to get to street level.

Susukino is also a red-light district in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. According to some websites, Susukino’s street stalls were the actual hotbed of the promotion of the prostitution. Not that I noticed anything odd except our final night when we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. We were permitted entry as long as we occupy the table no longer than 2 hours. It was not an issue to us as long as the food comes quickly 😅.
