Asahikawa experiences

Our stay in Asahikawa was brief – 1 day and 2 nights before making our way to Akanko. Therefore, breaking down our intended activities into experiences would be the best to indicate “Planned” and “Reality”.

Experience 1: Our initial plan was to enjoy another Ropeway experience at Daisetsuzan Asahidake Ropeway. Like Tateyama Kurobe Ropeway, Asahidake Ropeway is worth a visit regardless of season.

After careful studying the bus routes and timetables etc, the reports at the Official site indicated that Ropeway will be Off-limits for maintenance 🤦‍♀️. 

Plan A failed 🤦‍♀️. Time to activate Plan B for day activity.
